Aniston, Whitaker join cancer telethon

Jennifer Aniston and Forest Whitaker have been confirmed among the stars taking part in the Stand Up To Cancer telethon. Other stars taking part include America Ferrera, David Cook, Casey Affleck, Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson and Kirsten Dunst.

The event will screened on ABC, CBS and NBC on September 4. Producer Laura Ziskin said: "A lot of us had similar ideas at the same time. And we had some connection with each other. "Every single person involved in this is touched by this disease in one way or another." She described the show as "edu-tainment" and also revealed it would feature a cameo from Homer and Marge Simpson.

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been spending £4,000 a month on her appearance. The 39-year-old actress is allegedly worried her younger boyfriend, John Mayer, 30, will leave her for a younger woman and so has been splashing out to maintain her looks and figure.

The astonishing sum reportedly includes £1,000 on a personal chef and £750 for one-on-one yoga sessions with Los Angeles' top instructor, Mary Ingber. A source revealed: "Jennifer doesn't have time to prepare her own healthy meals, so she's signed up with this organic, high-protein, low-fat meal delivery service." Jennifer has reportedly been shelling out on beauty treatments costing her hundreds of pounds a time.

The source added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Jennifer has been spending £750 a month on seaweed and oxygen facials. She claims they instantly erase lines, dark spots and puffiness. "Amazingly, she doesn't have a trace of cellulite. And now it seems she's become more scrupulous about her thighs, having anti-cellulite spa sculpting treatments that cost about £500 a month. She's also been spending around £350 on exfoliating body wraps. Jen invests up to £300 a month on maintaining her hair too." Also on Jen's list are personal training sessions, manicures and pedicures at £150 per month and £100 a week on massages to ease stress.

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly helped John Mayer overcome an attack of writer's block. The singer has apparently been inspired by his love for the Friends star and has poured out his feelings for her in a new song – 'Moonbeam' Mayer recently hinted that he may quit music altogether at the end of his current tour.

Aniston denies Stewart concert ban

Jennifer Aniston is laughing off tabloid reports suggesting she had banned Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly from attending John Mayer's recent London concert.

The former 'Friends' star joined her rocker boyfriend for part of his European tour at the end of last month but, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Aniston was enraged when she spotted socialite Kimberly Stewart backstage at his Hard Rock Calling gig in Hyde Park on Saturday - and demanded she be removed from the site.

The publication went on to claim that "Jennifer doesn't want anyone around that reminds her that (Mayer) used to be a player". However, Aniston's representative has dismissed the claims, telling Usmagazine.com the story is "absolutely false".
